We offer Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practiced in a gi and without the gi coached by qualified instructors at no cost to the practitioner.  To participate, the practitioner must attend service at our church and sign a conduct contract.  The conduct contract, among other things, requires that the practitioner (if a minor) attends and maintains a passing grade in her or his education system. They must be respectful at home and with others, if they are a minor they must attend school, refrain from the use of profane and/or disparaging language, and refrain from illicit drugs and the intoxication of alcohol.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is an unarmed form of self-defense and sport system that does not employ strikes but grappling to immobilize an opponent or assailant then use joint attacks and choke holds to cause the opponent to submit or to immobilize an assailant.
